Bruegger’s Bottomless Mug Club Brews Year-Round Savings

Limitless Coffee Club Lets Coffee Lovers Pay Flat Rate, Fill Up for Less than 50 Cents a Day

(BURLINGTON, Vt.) – The sluggish economy has many Americans cutting their budgets and eliminating luxuries like $3 to $5 trips to the local coffee shop. The return of Bruegger’s Bottomless Mug Club means coffee lovers can satisfy those cravings year-round for less than 50 cents a day by paying a one-time, fixed rate price to lock in their savings for 2009.

Through Bruegger’s Bottomless Mug Club, guests purchase a travel mug, card or keytag that allows them to get free, limitless refills of Green Mountain Roasters® coffee, tea or soda from the time of purchase through December 31, 2009, at participating Bruegger’s bakery locations. Available until January 6, 2009, the mugs, cards or keytags start the savings for guests as soon as they’re purchased. Prices range from $109 to $149 depending on the location.

“Our Bottomless Mugs are a big hit with our guests. They appreciate the convenience of getting as many cups of coffee as they want from their neighborhood Bruegger’s for one price for the entire year,” said Bruegger’s CEO Jim Greco. “We’ve seen increased participation in this club each year, but expect an even more enthusiastic response this year from our guests who want to make the most of their budgets and still treat themselves to their regular coffee routine.”

Bruegger’s Bottomless Mugs made their national debut in 2004 and feature a new design each year. This year, the mug features a stainless steel and copper finish. The keytags, a new option for 2009, and cards offer a convenient alternative to the mug. In select markets, 2009’s Bottomless Mug, card or keytag purchasers will also receive a coupon book valued at $40 with special offers redeemable every month through 2009, providing even more savings from their neighborhood Bruegger’s.
