Bruegger's Continues Growth in South Carolina with Second Bakery-Café Opening in Greenville
Greenville, S.C. (December 22, 2007) – The fresh bakery-café experience
of Bruegger’s continues to grow throughout Greenville. Bruegger’s
Enterprises, Inc. celebrates the opening of its newest Bruegger’s bakery-café located
at 1717 Woodruff Road in Greenville, South Carolina. The opening marks
the second Bruegger’s bakery in Greenville.
“South Carolina is a growing market for Bruegger’s and we are
proud to be a part of the Greenville community,” said James J. Greco,
CEO of Bruegger’s. “In addition to our fresh-from-the-oven bagels,
Bruegger’s also offers an array of delicious, healthy menu options including
hand-tossed salads, fresh made soups, sandwiches and Green Mountain Coffee
Roasters coffee.”
There are currently six additional Bruegger’s locations in South Carolina.
The first Bruegger’s bakery-cafe opened in Charleston in August of 2006.
The bakery has seating for up to 50 guests, and offers guests the added convenience
of free, unlimited wireless Internet along with a drive-thru service. The new
bakery currently employs approximately 16 people. The bakery is open
Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday from 6:00 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In addition, this location features Bruegger’s updated bakery-cafe design
which utilizes a soft color scheme, emphasizing natural textures and warm tones
balanced with bright colors to make an inviting space for guests.
Kettle boiled first and baked fresh throughout the day, Bruegger’s bagels
have a delicious, crunchy crust on the outside and a dense, chewy texture on
the inside. In addition to fresh, hot bagels, Bruegger’s offers an extensive
menu that includes hand-crafted, fresh-tossed salads, signature soups, made-to-order
sandwiches and unique Green Mountain Coffee Roasters coffee blends, including
a daily Fair Trade CertifiedÔ blend. Bruegger’s is one of the
largest distributors of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Fair Trade CertifiedÔ coffee.
During the holiday season, Bruegger’s is featuring Fair Trade CertifiedTM
Gingerbread Coffee, an aromatic “dessert in a cup” and a great
option to get you going any time of day during the chilly winter months.
Additionally, Bruegger’s Bottomless Mugs are on sale now in all South
Carolina bakeries for $99 and make great holiday gifts. This special mug allows
guests free refills of delicious Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® coffee,
tea or soda at participating bakeries for an entire year--until December 31,
