Bruegger's Continues Growth in North Carolina; Local Franchisee Opens New Bakery in Cary

Opening marks second location for growing bakery-cafe chain

Cary, N.C. (October 23, 2007) – Today, Bruegger’s Enterprises, Inc., celebrated the opening of the newest Bruegger’s bakery-cafe in Cary, North Carolina. The Carolina Bagels franchise group, led by principle Kevin Greene, opened the new bakery located at 8204 Tryon Woods Road. The opening marks the second location to open in Cary. An all-day grand opening party, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony, will be held November 1.

The new bakery brings approximately 15 news jobs to Wake County and has indoor and outdoor seating for 88 guests. This location featured Bruegger’s updated bakery-cafe design, incorporating a soft color scheme, emphasizing natural textures and warm tones balanced with bright colors to make an inviting space for guests. The new bakery will soon feature unlimited free wireless Internet access.

More than 100 of Bruegger’s 262 bakeries are operated by franchise owners like Carolina Bagels. The new bakery is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
