Bruegger's Reopens Bakery-Cafe on Ingersoll Avenue

All Des Moines Firefighters honored with free large coffee from September 10 - 16

DES MOINES, Iowa (September 7, 2007) – Today, Bruegger’s Enterprises, Inc. celebrated the grand reopening of its 3730 Ingersoll Avenue location. The bakery had been closed since the end of April when a fire occurred after business hours. Bruegger’s, which is celebrating is 25th anniversary in 2008, has been serving the Des Moines community at this location for 15 years.

To celebrate the reopening of the bakery, Bruegger’s will be honoring the Des Moines Fire Department for their service to the community by offering all fire fighters a free large coffee with their official fire department badge. The offer is valid from September 10th through the 16th.

The Ingersoll location employs 10 people and provides seating for 77 guests plus an outdoor seating area. The bakery, which was remodeled in 2006, features Bruegger’s updated bakery-cafe design which utilizes a soft color scheme, emphasizing natural textures and warm tones balanced with bright colors to make an inviting space for guests. The bakery also features free, unlimited wireless Internet.

“Firefighters are an important part of every community and we thank them for their efforts and hard work,” said Bruegger’s Chief Executive Officer James J. Greco.

The bakery’s hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
