Bruegger's Bakeries Contribute to Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort
Bakeries will serve as collection points to raise money through October 1
Burlington, Vt. (September 2, 2005) - In an effort to help bring relief to the communities affected by Hurricane Katrina, Bruegger's bakeries nationwide will serve as collection points for monetary donations through October 1, 2005. The funds collected from the month long fundraiser will be donated to America's Second Harvest, the nation's largest charitable hunger-relief organization.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by this disaster," said Bruegger's CEO James Greco. "Helping to raise money is the very least we can do."
One hundred percent of funds collected will be used for Hurricane Relief efforts. Bruegger's will make a cash donation at the end of the collection period. For more information on how to help, please visit www.brueggers.com or one of Bruegger's 245 bakeries nationwide.
