Bruegger's launches nationwide iced coffee giveaway creating a mountain of snow at Florida bakery
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. and BURLINGTON, Vt. (June 21, 2007) – Bruegger’s Enterprises, Inc. is celebrating the first day of summer and kicking off the company's free nationwide iced coffee day by creating a mountain of snow in Tallahassee, Fla.. Guests, many of them children who have never seen snow, are enjoying winter time activities such as snow tubing, making snow angels and building snowmen.
With predicted high temperatures of 97 degrees, the Tallahassee community is encouraged to visit the Bruegger's winter wonderland and beat the heat. Guests are also encouraged to make a donation to a local charity, the Capital Area Community Action Agency.
“Bruegger's has created a fun, social occasion on the first day of summer. Iced Coffee is a refreshing treat and we think once guests try it will become a new favorite. Our cold-brewed process really produces a superior flavor,” said Chief Executive Officer James J. Greco.
Participating bakeries nationwide are offering guests a free 16-oz. iced coffee from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today. Bruegger's is the perfect place to chill out as the summer temperatures rise while enjoying Green Mountain Coffee Roasters iced coffee. Bruegger's iced coffee is cold-brewed to ensure a smooth, full-flavored cup every time. Other iced coffee preparation methods can produce a sharp, acidic taste.
The Raspberry Rhapsody iced coffee is bursting with the flavor of sweet, juicy raspberries and it is also available as a delectable, Raspberries and Cream treat by adding sweet cream and a dollop of whipped cream on top. For coffee traditionalists, Bruegger's will also feature French Roast and Cream. Iced coffee keeps you cool and makes the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
