Bruegger's Brings Bakery-Café Experience to downtown Milwaukee

Downtown location opens on North Water Street

Milwaukee, Wis. (January 12, 2007) - Marking its first bakery-café in downtown Milwaukee, Bruegger's Enterprises, Inc. celebrated the opening of its newest location at 753 Water Street today at 5:30 a.m. The bakery features free wireless Internet; to celebrate the occasion Bruegger's will be offering specials on the chicken pesto ciabatta from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Bruegger's is experiencing the 11th consecutive quarter of comparable restaurant sales growth, marking a company record of consistent sales growth and plans to open 50 new bakery-café locations in 2007. The company currently operates four other bakery-cafés in the greater Milwaukee area.

Kettle boiled first, Bruegger's bagels are baked fresh throughout the day to give them an authentic crunchy crust on the outside and a dense, chewy texture on the inside. In addition to fresh, hot bagels, Bruegger's offers an extensive menu that includes hand-crafted, fresh-tossed salads, made-to-order sandwiches and unique coffee blends, including a daily Fair Trade Certified TM blend.

The bakery is open Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is closed on Sundays.
