Bruegger's New Year Starts with New Spinach and Cheddar Omelet Sandwich
Breakfast is the Most Important and Delicious Meal of the Day at Bruegger's
Burlington, Vt. (January 9, 2008) – When your mother hears about the
new Bruegger’s breakfast sandwich, watch out – she just may offer
to treat you to breakfast! After all, she always told you to eat more
spinach. Today Bruegger’s introduces the new limited-time-only Spinach
and Cheddar Omelet Sandwich, offering guests a savory, delicious start to their
day. This is the first time Bruegger’s has offered an omelet option.
This sandwich is prepared on your choice of Bruegger’s signature, hot-from-the-oven
bagel and combines a spinach and cheddar omelet served with an additional slice
of cheddar cheese, with or without bacon, ham or sausage.
“Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day,” said
Bruegger’s CEO James Greco. “This new omelet sandwich gives
our guests another convenient, delicious option in the morning and it’s
portable for those facing the morning rush.”
The Spinach and Cheddar Omelet Sandwich joins a variety of favorite breakfast
options, including signature bagel breakfast sandwiches as well as a Classic
Wrap and a Southwestern-inspired Rio Grande Wrap. Breakfast is served
until 11 a.m. weekdays and until 1 p.m. weekends, however if guests crave an
egg sandwich and they are willing to wait just a few extra minutes, Bruegger’s
is happy to accommodate any time of day.
Back by popular demand is a seasonal favorite coffee perfect for the winter
months, Golden French Toast Coffee from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. This
aromatic Fair Trade Certified™ blend captures the warm buttery flavors
of French toast with a touch of cinnamon and sweet maple syrup.
Bruegger's offers 18 bagel flavors (vary per bakery) all made from fresh dough
and kettle boiled before they are baked to create a crust on the outside and
a dense, chewy texture on the inside. Bruegger’s also offers its
own Vermont-fresh cream cheese that comes in an assortment of sweet and savory
options such as strawberry, honey walnut, garden veggie and light herb garlic.
