Bruegger's

We believe that the foundation of our success and positive brand growth begins with a selective process that allows us to adequately educate the franchisee candidate on the realities and expectations of becoming a Bruegger's franchisee and provides Bruegger's with the necessary interaction to determine the candidates fit within our system.

1. Initial Qualification

You will speak with one of our qualification specialists to evaluate your objectives and determine if the market that you are requesting is available. You will also be provided with an application for completion.

2. Financial Verification

Our qualification specialist will verify the appropriate liquid capital and investment capability from your sources.

3. Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC)

Upon satisfactory completion of steps 1 and 2, you will be assigned to a recruiter who will then provide a copy of Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC) and perform an initial phone review.

4. Face-to-Face meeting

Our recruiter will visit you in your home market and complete a thorough review of our UFOC and continue the dialogue regarding your expectations as well as ours.

5. Observation Day

This is another key component of your discovery of our franchise opportunity. You will spend 4-6 hours in a Bruegger's Bakery. This will be your opportunity to observe and ask questions regarding all aspects of operating a bakery.

6. Business Plan

You will develop a preliminary business plan that includes a break-even analysis. You will contact existing franchisees during this step to help validate your expectations and learn more about their experiences.

7. Approval Packet Review

Your Business Plan along with your application, financial verification information and feedback from your observation day are packaged together by your recruiter and presented to the Franchisee Review committee for approval.

8. Orientation and Signing Day

This is an exciting day and represents the final step in your discovery and approval process. You will travel to Bruegger's corporate headquarters in Burlington, Vermont, where you will meet with the leaders of every department. On this day you will also sign your Agreements to officially become a Bruegger's franchisee.
