We award franchise rights for a minimum commitment of 3 bakeries. We require a minimum liquidity of $100,000 and a net worth of $200,000 per bakery. Previous restaurant experience is ideal, but is not required. Prior business experience, financial qualifications, demonstrated interest and a track record of personal success are also important factors in our evaluation process. However, if the prospective franchisee does not have confirmed multi-unit restaurant experience, the franchisee will be required to hire an operating partner, approved by Bruegger's, with 5-7 years of demonstrable restaurant experience in a successful multi-unit restaurant leadership role. The franchise owner will be required to offer this experienced partner a minimum of 10% equity in the business and provide that he/she have the authority to make all operational decisions with regards to the bakeries owned by the franchisee. |
