Donations & Events
Our philosophy is simple: we are a neighborhood bakery, so we get involved with the clubs, causes, events and people that make up our neighborhood. We do it because we know that the community supports us and we want to give something back.
One of the ways we give back is through donations to area organizations. Each year we donate time, effort and bagels (lots of bagels!) to the people that are trying to make a better neighborhood and a better world. Use our Donation Form to see whether Bruegger’s can help with your non-profit event. Please understand that we cannot fulfill every request as we receive thousands each year. When the volume of requests keeps us from granting every one, we try to give priority to organizations supporting children, veterans and disease prevention.

2012 Rochester Get Your
Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk
June 23, 2012
A coalition that has formed 5K's and other events in cities across the country, they work together with health care providers, corporations and the media, to encourage people to "Get Your Rear in Gear" and talk about colon cancer with their doctor, their loved ones and everyone they know. Bruegger's will be donating 25 dozen bagels to race participants. Good luck to all of the runners!

Tour de Cure

The Tour de Cure raises funds to support the essential efforts of the American Diabetes Association to find a cure for this deadly disease. Each mile covered and every dollar raised supports diabetes treatment and education for adults and children, touching their lives in critically important ways. The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. Whether you ride 10 miles or 100 miles, you will travel a route supported from start to finish with rest stops, food to fuel the journey and fans to cheer you on! Bruegger's will be donating 15 dozen bagels to this event.

The Cheshire Community YMCA in conjunction with the Sea Dog Swim Team is hosting their 1st Annual Healthy Living Expo featuring a 5K Run/Walk and Kids Doggie Dash Fun Run. The Expo’s goal is to raise awareness of health and wellness issues and inform attendees of the related services and products within their community. Bruegger's will be donating 600 bagels to the race participants

Freezing for a Reason! Join Special Olympics Vermont’s largest statewide fundraising event. Over 1,000 people from Vermont and beyond jump into the state’s icy February waters to raise money for their athletes. Bruegger's will be donating 40 dozen bagels to this event.
