Bruegger's

At Bruegger’s our philosophy is simple: we are a neighborhood bakery. We get involved with the clubs, causes, events and people that make up our neighborhood. We do it because we know that the community supports us and we want to give something back. We also do it because it's just more fun to be really connected to the places we live and work.

One of the ways we give back is through product donations to area organizations. Each year we donate time, effort and bagels (lots of bagels!) to the people that are trying to make it a better neighborhood and a better world. See below for some upcoming events in your area, or use our Donation Form to see whether Bruegger’s can help with your non-profit event. Please understand that we cannot fulfill every request as we receive thousands of them each year. When the volume of requests necessitates, we try to give priority to organizations supporting children, veterans and disease prevention.

Freezing for a Reason! Join Special Olympics Vermont’s largest statewide fundraising event. Over 1,000 people from Vermont and beyond jump into the state’s icy February waters to raise money for their athletes. Bruegger's will be donating 40 dozen bagels to this event.

Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. Bruegger's will be donating 17 dozens bagels to help feed and motivate all of the teams that participate in this special event

Cheshire YMCA Sea Dog 5K & Healthy Living Expo

The Cheshire Community YMCA in conjunction with the Sea Dog Swim Team is hosting their 1st Annual Healthy Living Expo featuring a 5K Run/Walk and Kids Doggie Dash Fun Run. The Expo’s goal is to raise awareness of health and wellness issues and inform attendees of the related services and products within their community. Bruegger's will be donating 600 bagels to the race participants

2012 Rochester Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk

A coalition that has formed 5K's and other events in cities across the country, they work together with health care providers, corporations and the media, to encourage people to "Get Your Rear in Gear" and talk about colon cancer with their doctor, their loved ones and everyone they know. Bruegger's will be donating 25 dozen bagels to race participants. Good luck to all of the runners!

The Methodist Hospital/UNO Women's Triathalon

A fun, friendly fitness event for women! Registrants get to participate in a non competitive introduction to the triathlon experience. Swim, Bike, and Run in this all ages fitness event! All proceeds will go to the UNOmaha Women's Swimming & Diving Team to assist with their travel during the 2011-2012 season. Bruegger's will be donating 25 dozen bagels to the event!

American Cancer Society: Relay for Life 2011

Relay For Life is a family oriented event where participants can walk or run on a track relay style for 12 hours. Several participants camp around the track, and when they are not taking their turn, they take part in other fun activities. Bruegger's will be donating 200 bagels to the event.

KeyBank Vermont City Marathon & Relay

Bruegger's is a proud sponsor of our hometown race, the 23rd annual KeyBank Vermont City Marathon & Relay. Bruegger's will be donating 3000 bagels to help feed over 3,500 marathon runners and over 1,000 relay participants. Best of luck to all the runners!
