Bruegger's Celebrates 10 Years of Giving in Pittsburgh

Bakery-Cafe Donates $284,000 to New Pittsburgh Children's Hospital

On Friday December 18, Bruegger's will present the Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital Foundation with a check for $15,500, as part of the organization’s annual Telethon designed to raise awareness and proceeds for the city’s new Children’s Hospital.  The date also marks the tenth anniversary of Bruegger’s support of Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital. Since 1999, the bakery café has donated nearly $284,000, from the proceeds of its Bottomless Mugs sales in its seventeen Pittsburgh restaurants, a popular gift item that provides customers with free, limitless refills of Green Mountain Roasters® coffee for the following year. Bruegger’s contribution will aid the hospital’s Free Care Fund which helps provide free health care to less fortunate children in the Pittsburgh area.
