Bruegger’s Honors American Heroes during July 4 Weekend

Sales of Patriotic Red, White and Blue Bagels to benefit Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund

This Independence Day Bruegger’s is waving its patriotic colors.  The neighborhood bakery will offer its fresh-from-the oven bagels, swirled with red, white and blue on Friday, July 3 through Saturday, July 4.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of patriotic bagels will benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a New York-based non-profit benefiting our nation’s military heroes and their families. Established as an independent not-for-profit organization in 2003, the Fund has provided close to $65 million in support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans.

Patriotic bagels will be available for a limited time only on Friday, July 3, 2009 through Saturday July 4, 2009. Check Brueggers.com for bakery hours.
