ORLANDO SENTINEL: Bruegger's returns to Orlando area after 10 years

 Bruegger's, a Burlington, Vt.-based bakery-cafe chain, pulled out of the Central Florida market more than 10 years ago.But now it's back.
Bruegger's, which has been under a new ownership group since 2002, has opened a bakery-cafe at 895 E. Altamonte Drive in Altamonte Springs.
The Orlando-area franchisee has committed to five locations over the next five years. And there's room in the market for a few more locations, said Chris Cheek, vice president of franchise development, so another franchisee is a possibility.
It's having grand opening ceremonies this weekend. There are gift giveaways and promotional drawings through 3 p.m. today, Saturday and Sunday.
