Bruegger’s Bakery-Café Arrives in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania

Montgomery County Receives Its First Taste of Authentic New York Style Bagels

(Jenkintown, PA) – Bruegger’s Enterprises, Inc. has officially opened the doors to its newest location and welcomes its new neighbors in the borough of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. Located off of Old York Road, the bakery and café will serve its famous, boiled and baked bagels as well as a its signature lunch items to its guests.

Bruegger’s newest bakery-café will provide its guests with a comfortable and warm atmosphere to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and a wholesome meal.   With a total square footage of 2,500, the bakery’s new location will feature 60 indoor seats for its guests and will employ approximately 15 people. Within the state of Pennsylvania, Bruegger’s currently operates a total of 21 other bakeries—18 in the greater Pittsburgh area and three in the Philadelphia area.

A soft color scheme, emphasizing natural textures and warm tones balanced with bright colors is an integral part of the Bruegger’s bakery-cafes design making it an inviting experience.  The bakery-café will also feature free wireless internet service in the dining room.  The hours of operation are Monday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Kettle boiled first; Bruegger’s bagels are baked fresh throughout the day to give them an authentic crunchy crust on the outside and a dense, chewy texture on the inside. In addition to fresh, hot bagels, Bruegger’s offers an extensive menu free of artificial trans fats. Menu items include new Signature Soups, hand-crafted, fresh-tossed salads, made-to-order sandwiches and unique Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® coffee blends, including a daily Fair Trade Certified blend.
