AllBusiness.com, an online resource for business professionals, announced Bruegger's as its top franchiser in the bagel category, citing good financial health, longevity and brand awareness. Bruegger's added franchise units in five states in 2009, including its first franchise location in the greater Chicago area and a location at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. To date, the company has 105 franchise units throughout the U.S., approximately 35 percent of the chain's 291 total units. QSR magazine recently named Bruegger's one of its 10 Top Fast-Casual Franchise Deals, Fast Casual included the chain in its Top 100 Fast Casual companies and Entrepreneur magazine once again named Bruegger's No. 1 in the bagel category for 2009.
