Bruegger’s Bakery-Café Opens in Greensboro, NC
Greensboro’s Favorite New York Style Bakery Opens on West Wendover Avenue
(Greensboro, NC) –Bruegger’s Enterprises, Inc. recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest bakery in Greensboro, North Carolina. Located at 4401 West Wendover Avenue, the bakery and café will offer its famous, boiled and baked bagels as well as its signature lunch items.“Greensboro is a very strong market for us,” said James J. Greco, CEO of Bruegger’s. “Bruegger’s is looking forward to continue serving this community as well as remaining a popular breakfast and lunch choice among its guests.
Bruegger’s newest bakery-café will provide its guests with a comfortable and warm atmosphere to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and a wholesome meal. With a total square footage of 2,700, the bakery’s new location will feature 54 indoor seats and in the spring, there will be outdoor seating for 16 guests. The bakery will employ approximately 14 people. Within the city of Greensboro, Bruegger’s currently operates a total of 3 other bakeries.
A soft color scheme, emphasizing natural textures and warm tones balanced with bright colors is an integral part of the Bruegger’s bakery-cafes design making it an inviting experience. The bakery-café will also feature free wireless internet service in the dining room. The hours of operation are Monday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Kettle boiled first; Bruegger’s bagels are baked fresh throughout the day to give them an authentic crunchy crust on the outside and a dense, chewy texture on the inside. In addition to fresh, hot bagels, Bruegger’s offers an extensive menu free of artificial trans fats. Menu items include new Signature Soups, hand-crafted, fresh-tossed salads, made-to-order sandwiches and unique Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® coffee blends, including a daily Fair Trade Certified blend.
