Bruegger's Opens in Glenwood South
Raleigh's favorite New York-style Bakery arrives in Glenwood South
(Raleigh, NC) - Kevin Green celebrated the opening of his third Bruegger's Bakery-Café on Friday, December 5 in Glenwood South. Located at 222 Glenwood Ave., Green's restaurant is Bruegger's 32nd bakery in North Carolina."We're very excited about Kevin's success in the Raleigh-area," said James J. Greco, CEO of Bruegger's. "His dedication and affection for the community is reflected in the service guests receive when they walk into the doors of his bakeries."
Bruegger's newest bakery-café will provide its guests with a comfortable and warm atmosphere to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and a wholesome meal. With a total square footage of 2,200, the bakery will feature 53 indoor seats and in the spring, there will be outdoor seating for 20 guests. The bakery will employ approximately 10 people.
A soft color scheme, emphasizing natural textures and warm tones balanced with bright colors is an integral part of the Bruegger's bakery-cafés design making it an inviting experience. Free parking tokens for the Jones Street parking garage will be available with any purchase. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Kettle boiled first; Bruegger's bagels are baked fresh throughout the day to give them an authentic crunchy crust on the outside and a dense, chewy texture on the inside. In addition to fresh, hot bagels, Bruegger's offers an extensive menu free of artificial trans fats. Menu items include new Signature Soups, hand-crafted, fresh-tossed salads, made-to-order sandwiches and unique Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® coffee blends, including a daily Fair Trade Certified™ blend.
